Austin Pegues is an associate whose practice is focused in the areas of casualty and personal injury defense, with a particular emphasis on claims related to vehicular accidents. His previous professional experience includes working as an associate with an Oakland-based workers’ compensation firm with offices throughout California. He also gained knowledge of personal injury and civil litigation as a law clerk with two San Diego area law firms, and served as a federal judicial extern for the United States District Court Southern District of California in San Diego.
Austin earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2019. As a law student Austin was a member of the International Law Journal as well as the Black Law Student’s Association. He also spent time working as a mentor for the C.L.I.M.B program, which serves at risk youth in the San Diego to help them learn about the law and find paths to legal careers. Austin also holds a B.A. in business and film from Arizona State University.
