San Francisco, CA, November 4, 2014 – Complex litigation and trial law firm Edlin Gallagher Huie + Blum (“EGHB”) has added four accomplished attorneys to its Los Angeles office. Partners Michael E. Gallagher  and Paul D. Rasmussen and associate Raymond Park made the move after learning about EGHB’s plans for expanding its environmental, toxic tort, and construction law practice in Southern California and determining the firm culture was an ideal fit. To accommodate the growth of its team, EGHB has increased office space at its current location in downtown Los Angeles at 515 S. Flower Street.

“My colleagues and I are thrilled to have this group of talented attorneys join our firm,” says Managing Partner Noel Edlin. “Adding to our trial attorney strength in Los Angeles empowers us to handle the growing number of toxic tort, environmental, and construction defect claims being filed in Southern California and other parts of the state.”

Michael E. Gallagher is a partner with Edlin Gallagher Huie + Blum who defends clients in complex environmental and toxic tort matters, including cost recovery actions in Superfund cases, multi-party toxic tort actions, and litigation related to pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Gallagher has particular expertise in healthcare compliance and regulatory issues. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1997 and his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Paul D. Rasmussen is a partner who specializes in defending clients in environmental and toxic tort cases. He has successfully represented clients throughout the entire litigation process, including mediation, State and Federal court trials, and appeals. He has extensive experience in the litigation and resolution of complex, multi-party environmental and toxic tort matters. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1998 and earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1990.

Raymond J. Park is an associate whose practice is focused on civil litigation matters, especially those involving construction, product liability, toxic tort, environmental law, breach of contract, subrogation, and general liability defense. In his construction practice, Park represents developers, contractors, and manufacturers in both commercial and residential projects. Park earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2004 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. In 2001, he graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine, with a B.A. in political science.
