Ruben P. Ruiz

Ruben P. Ruiz is an associate attorney. His civil litigation practice includes toxic torts, products liability, and business law. He has experience defending clients in claims involving environmental contamination, automotive defects and design, and breach of contract. He also has experience in intellectual property and securities litigation .

Ruben received his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2003, where he was a writer and editor for the Santa Clara Computer and High Technology Journal. While in law school, he clerked at eBay focusing on intellectual property matters. He also held a summer clerkship at the Department of Justice assisting the Immigration and Naturalization Service in criminal deportation.

Ruben was a Fulbright Scholar to the Netherlands in 1999, where he studied post-colonial immigrant communities. He holds an M.F.A. in writing from the University of Oregon and was a recipient of the Walter and Nancy Kidd Fellowship and a Graduate Teaching Fellowship. He received his B.A. from Loyola-Marymount University in English Literature and Ancient History.

He is licensed to practice in California.
